Mike has been Mid-City’s resident steel shop technician and boom truck operator for more than a decade and he’s spent double that time working in the industry. He likes meeting new people and especially appreciates working with the great staff at Mid-City Lumber. Mike lives in Ashland and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially around a good fire.

Edie is a natural fit for Mid-City Lumber, having grown up in the industry under her dad and grandfather. She enjoys taking calls – discovering each person’s unique needs and being able to assist them. A resident of Hallsville, Edie keeps busy outside of work with playing and teaching softball, babysitting, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends.

Sinjun is a firefighter with several years of experience in the building industry. He likes to see people’s dream homes come to life and says that as a long-time customer of Mid-City Lumber, he knows first-hand how Mid-City helps customers realize those dreams. Sinjun lives in Hallsville where he enjoys spending time with his family.

Eric brings more than 25 years of construction and building experience to Mid-City Lumber. He says he enjoys the friendly faces at Mid-City and the way the company takes care of their employees. Eric lives in Columbia and when not working, likes to hunt, fish and play with his pups.

Cole comes to Mid-City Lumber with a background in the military. He says what he likes most about working at Mid-City is seeing people build their dream projects and helping them through the process. A resident of Columbia, Cole spends his free time playing golf and traveling.

Madi joins Mid-City Lumber with a background in accounting, programming and cybersecurity. She finds the environment at Mid-City to be positive and welcoming and enjoys seeing new faces every day. Kaylie comes to Mid-City with a background in banking and a love for numbers that started as early as high school. She says it is the importance of accounting’s role to the business that keeps her so engaged. A resident of Centralia, Kaylie spends her downtime reading, practicing yoga and binging Criminal Minds.

Hunter began working at Mid-City Lumber as a driver while in college and found it to be a great fit. His says he enjoys being involved with customer projects from the very beginning and getting to watching them materialize. He likes the people at Mid-City and is happy to be part of the team. Hunter lives in Columbia and whenever he can get away, likes to travel.

Ben brings 11 years of experience in the building supply industry to Mid-City Lumber. Having grown up around construction, he says he has always enjoyed the environment, and found the team at Mid-City Lumber quick to welcome him. A lifetime resident of Sturgeon, Ben keeps busy with his family. He and his wife coach their kids in several sports and they enjoys attending concerts and camping.

Gavin brings to Mid-City Lumber more than 18 years of experience as a builder, so he understands first-hand what it takes to get the job done. He says he has always loved the challenge of problem solving that comes with any building project. A resident of Arrow Rock, Gavin spends his free time with his wife and three kids, fishing or enjoying some Lake time.

Michael has 25+ years in the lumber industry and has held multiple senior management positions. He is excited to join Mid-City Lumber and will lead the team through the process of documenting procedures to ensure consistency throughout the company. Michael is based out of his home office in Florida and will work a combination of remotely and on-site, spending time at all Mid-City Lumber locations.

Emily comes to Mid-City Lumber with a background in insurance and taxes. In addition to her love for numbers, Emily says she enjoys the atmosphere at Mid-City Lumber as well as the opportunity to learn new things. A resident of Jefferson City, Emily spends her spare time with family, being outdoors as much as possible.

Zach joins the Mid-City team with a background in farming and agriculture/chemical sales, both positions that required him to keep a close eye on the markets. He enjoys the process of buying and the challenge of discerning the right time to buy at the right price. Zach lives in Rocheport where he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and two children.

Brooke earned a degree in accounting and started her career at an energy company. She is enjoying being part of the Mid-City team and says it’s great to be at a company with well-established practices and good leadership. She enjoys the family-like environment at Mid-City and is excited to learn more about the industry. Brooke calls Pilot Grove home and spends her free time gardening and cooking.

Dawn grew up in the lumber business, learning the ropes from her father. She was the second ever woman to earn a degree in Building Materials Merchandising at her college. Soon after, she started a career at a building supply company. Dawn says she loves the ever-changing industry and especially enjoys designing home exteriors.  A resident of Salisbury, Dawn enjoys traveling and spending time with family, and can always find something to watch on HGTV.

Dakota joins the Mid-City team with a background in auto mechanics and farming. He says he loves the hustle and bustle at Mid-City Lumber, and the many opportunities to interact with customers and team members. A resident of Centralia, Dakota has one young son and when not helping people at Mid-City, is busy farming.

Mike joins Mid-City with more than 27 years of IT experience and says he likes that the field is always changing and challenging, with lots of room to grow. A native of Northern Michigan, Mike now lives in Columbia. He fills his spare time playing ice and roller hockey, biking, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and spending time with family, traveling or watching a good movie. Mike also volunteers for several organizations, such as Operation Christmas Child, Salvation Army and A Time to Give Thanks.

Loren joins the Mid-City team after 25 years working for the fire department. He says he enjoys the people at Mid-City as well as the daily hustle and bustle. A resident of Harrisburg, Loren spends his free time farming and enjoying his family.

Tiffany started with Mid-City Lumber working as a designer after years of experience in the interior design industry. She says what she loves about working at Mid-City is the people – seeing the excitement of homeowners when their visions and reams become a reality and knowing she has been a part. A resident of Rocheport, Tiffany spends her spare time with her family, and enjoys being outdoors on the farm or a good DIY project.

Jody has a long history of retail experience that includes accounting, bookkeeping, sales and management. Her role at Mid-City utilizes these talents to assist in receiving and provide general office support. She says she enjoys the fast-pace of Mid-City days in a friendly environment. A resident of Rocheport, Jody is involved in local community support and loves to spend time outdoors on trails or at the river.

Lynda comes to Mid-City with a background in HR and the hospitality industry. Mary comes to Mid-City Lumber with more than 27 years of experience in the lumber and hardware industry, and she loves using that experience to assist Mid-City customers. Shaun spent almost two decades working for a mid-Missouri gas company before joining the team at Mid-City Lumber. His background in construction, sales and service has positioned him well for his work at Mid-City Lumber, where he enjoys helping customers every day. A resident of Sturgeon, Shaun spends his free time watching his daughter play softball, playing guitar and restoring his historic house.

Mid-City Mike has never met a project he didn’t like. Consumed with the building process for as long as he can remember, he loves to help friends and customers make their construction and remodel plans a reality. A native of mid-Missouri, Mid-City Mike enjoys vigorous hikes and fishing.

Jesse started with Mid-City Lumber as a driver and transitioned to dispatching, eventually taking the role as supervisor. Recently, he has transitioned once again – now to Inside Sales. He is a Hallsville native and enjoys the relationships he has with other Mid-City staff. In his free time, Jesse spends time with family and friends and can often be found playing basketball or riding four-wheelers.
