Gayle has enjoyed the people at Mid-City Lumber for quite a few years. A resident of Columbia, she is always happy to get to spend time with her grown grandchildren.

Mark enjoys helping customers at Mid-City Lumber and says that every day is different, which keeps things interesting. He’s a Columbia resident who when not working, likes to take rides with his wife and dog.

Mike started Mid-City Lumber with a desire to bring good people together and build something to benefit the community. A resident of Hallsville, Mike spends his spare time enjoying his family and their horses.

Marilyn says working at Mid-City is like being part of a family. A resident of Moberly, Marilyn enjoys sewing, knitting and quilting.

Terry enjoys interacting with people and helping them navigate the construction process. A Columbia resident, Terry enjoys spending time with family and friends

What Dane enjoys most about working at Mid-City Lumber are the contractors, many of which he has known for years. Dane lives in Columbia and likes riding horses in his spare time.

Jeff enjoys working with contractors to help them construct a great home. Jeff lives in New Franklin, and in his spare time, likes to fish.

Karen really enjoys her customers and says they are fun to get along with. She lives in Hallsville and prefers to spend her spare time doing anything outdoors.

Will loves helping customers see their lumber and construction projects to completion. He lives in Columbia and likes to farm and spend time with his kids.

Gary enjoys working with people and helping them figure out their construction projects. Gary lives in Hartsburg and spends his spare time fishing and gardening.

Zane says the best part of working at Mid-City Lumber is that every day presents a new challenge. Zane lives in Hallsville and enjoys hanging out with his wife and children.

Jared enjoys interacting with Mid-City customers and getting to know them. Jared lives in Boonville and likes to take a motorcycle ride every now and then.

Jessica likes working with the Mid-City team and helping people construct their dream homes. She lives in Columbia and likes to spend time with her family and play with her dogs.

Shelly has enjoyed building relationships with her customers over the years. A Sedalia resident, Shelly keeps busy away from Mid-City with her photography business.

Joe is happy to work for a company like Mid-City where they treat their employees well. He lives in Sedalia and enjoys woodworking, travel and socializing with friends.

Doug likes working with Mid-City Lumber clients to help them solve problems. Doug lives in Holts Summit and likes to golf when he has time.

Maggie is happy to say she knows many of the Mid-City customers and she likes to see them day-to-day. She lives in Koeltztown and spends her spare time riding her motorcycle.

Gayla loves to match different personalities to their ideal design style. She lives in Jefferson City, and in her spare time, enjoys playing golf and spending time with family.

Curt says working at Mid-City is different every day, and he enjoys that. A Jefferson City resident, Curt likes camping and spending time with his family.

Vic arrived at Mid-City Lumber in 1983, bringing with him a background in construction, welding and trusses. He says he has met a lot of good people over the years and has had a chance to do a little bit of everything. When not at Mid-City, Vic keeps busy on his farm in Koeltztown where he and his wife raise cattle, chickens, hogs and even bees. And when Vic gets time to play, you’ll find him pulling tractors.

Doug loves to meet and interact with the various contractors and customers of Mid-City Lumber. He says there is never a dull moment. Doug lives in Jefferson City and likes to ride his Harley and go to church.

Mike has been Mid-City’s resident steel shop technician and boom truck operator for more than a decade and he’s spent double that time working in the industry. He likes meeting new people and especially appreciates working with the great staff at Mid-City Lumber. Mike lives in Ashland and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially around a good fire.

Allan enjoys the way his job keeps him up to date on all the current trends in design and construction. Allan lives in Columbia and when not at Mid-City Lumber, enjoys the artistry of woodworking – from cabinets, to music boxes, to puzzles and more.

Gene enjoys the people that work at and do business with Mid-City Lumber. He says the family-oriented team of staff work hard to deliver all the resources their customers need. He is a Columbia resident and likes spending time on his farm and with family.

Michael comes to Mid-City Lumber with a background in project and production management with precast concrete and as an experienced home builder. He enjoys applying these skills to helping customers at Mid-City Lumber. A resident of Ashland, when not at work Michael enjoys golf and fishing.

Mary has held various positions in her time with Mid-City and says that she enjoys working with really nice people. Mary lives in Columbia and enjoys horseback riding, gardening and spending time with family.

Jesse started with Mid-City Lumber as a driver and transitioned to dispatching, eventually taking the role as supervisor. Recently, he has transitioned once again – now to Inside Sales. He is a Hallsville native and enjoys the relationships he has with other Mid-City staff. In his free time, Jesse spends time with family and friends and can often be found playing basketball or riding four-wheelers.

Sean feels even more at home than most at Mid-City Lumber, having grown up with some of the current staff. He says he is happy to be part of the team and is enjoying learning new stuff every day. A Hallsville resident, Sean enjoys down time with his yellow lab, Bear.

Audrey comes to Mid-City and Columbia all the way from the state of California and is excited about living in a Midwest climate with all four seasons. Previously employed as an accountant at a law firm, she enjoys the faster-paced environment of Mid-City Lumber, and finds the people at Mid-City to be a lot of fun.

Bob joins Mid-City Lumber with 30 plus years of carpentry experience. He and his wife live in Holts Summit with their four boys and enjoy being active in their church. He says what he likes most about Mid-City is being able to utilize his love and talent for carpentry to draft blueprints for contractors and clients.

Austin is a Harrisburg native with a background in general construction. He is pleased to be part of the Mid-City Lumber team and says the people are friendly and deliver a high quality of customer service. When not working, Austin loves being Daddy to his daughter.

Mid-City Mike has never met a project he didn’t like. Consumed with the building process for as long as he can remember, he loves to help friends and customers make their construction and remodel plans a reality. A native of mid-Missouri, Mid-City Mike enjoys vigorous hikes and fishing.

Jeffrey took a position as dispatcher after serving Mid-City Lumber for six years working in the yard. He says it is a good company to work for and he enjoys the opportunity to meet new people every day. Jeffrey lives in Centralia where he likes to spend time with his wife and two children and, when time allows, go fishing.

Shaun spent almost two decades working for a mid-Missouri gas company before joining the team at Mid-City Lumber. His background in construction, sales and service has positioned him well for his work at Mid-City Lumber, where he enjoys helping customers every day. A resident of Sturgeon, Shaun spends his free time watching his daughter play softball, playing guitar and restoring his historic house.

Josh has enjoyed the construction industry most of his life, helping in his Dad’s business as a kid. As part of the Mid-City crew, he likes getting out to meet new people and talk to customers. He was born and raised in Sedalia, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Josh enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. 

Gavin brings to Mid-City Lumber more than 18 years of experience as a builder, so he understands first-hand what it takes to get the job done. He says he has always loved the challenge of problem solving that comes with any building project. A resident of Arrow Rock, Gavin spends his free time with his wife and three kids, fishing or enjoying some Lake time.
